Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • ½ unit Onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Taco Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice

For Assembly

  • 8 unit Tortillas
  • Toppings (guacamole, salsa, shredded cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, refried beans) Choose from various toppings to add extra flavor and texture.

Instructions

  • Combine ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic in a non-stick fry pan or cast iron skillet.
  • Cook over medium-high heat, stirring often, until the meat begins to brown and is no longer pink at the center, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Once the ground beef is browned, add taco seasoning, stirring to ensure evenly distributed seasoning.
  • Add lime juice to the pan and stir to combine. Continue cooking uncovered until the meat is nicely browned and flavors meld, mixing occasionally, about another 3-5 minutes.
  • Fill each tortilla with the seasoned ground beef mixture.
  • Top with your choice of guacamole, salsa, shredded cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, and refried beans as desired. Enjoy while warm!

Notes

  • Use fresh ingredients for better flavor.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan while cooking.
  • Taste as you go and adjust seasoning.
  • Warm tortillas before filling for better texture.
