Use a coffee grinder to roughly grind your coffee beans to a coarse texture similar to breadcrumbs.
Place the ground coffee and water in a large, clean jar. Secure a lid and shake gently to mix everything evenly.
Allow the mixture to sit in the refrigerator for 24-48 hours.
Position a mesh sieve or strainer over another large jar or bowl. Lay a piece of cheesecloth on top and pour the cold brew mixture through. Repeat if needed for clarity.
Serve your cold brew immediately over ice, or store it in the refrigerator for several weeks.
