Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag Hashbrowns (32 oz., thawed and patted dry)
  • 1 can Cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz.)
  • ½ cup Cream cheese (softened)
  • ¾ cup Sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Toppings

  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese (shredded, divided)
  • ⅓ cup Unsalted Butter (melted)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a large casserole dish, mix together the hashbrown potatoes, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, sour cream, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and half of the cheddar cheese. Spread the mixture evenly in the dish.
  • Top the mixture with the remaining cheddar cheese and pour the melted butter on top without mixing it in.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • For an extra crunch, broil for 2-4 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your cheesy hashbrown casserole.

Notes

  • Use thawed hashbrowns to avoid excess moisture and sogginess.
  • Adjust cheese variety as desired for added flavor.
