Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Granulated sugar
  • 3 teaspoons Baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon Fine sea salt or table salt
  • 1 ⅓ cups Milk, at room temperature
  • 5 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • Butter
  • Syrup
  • Fresh berries

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well combined.
  • Stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix gently until just combined, ensuring only a few lumps remain.
  • Heat a griddle over medium-low heat and coat with butter.
  • Using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon, pour small circles of batter onto the heated griddle.
  • Cook for about 2 minutes or until bubbles form on the surface.
  • Gentle flip the pancakes and cook for another minute until lightly browned.
  • Transfer to a plate and keep warm in a low oven if necessary. Repeat until all batter is used.
  • Serve warm with butter, syrup, and fresh berries.

Notes

  • Preheat the griddle for even cooking and avoid overmixing to keep pancakes fluffy.
  • You can store the batter in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
