Preparation
In a large mixing bowl, combine self-rising flour and Greek yogurt. If using salt, add it too. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and gently knead until smooth and elastic, about 1-2 minutes.
Cooking
Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Roll each piece into a ball and flatten it into a rectangular shape.
Heat a non-stick saucepan over medium heat. Place a flattened piece of dough in the pan and cook for about 3 minutes until bubbles form.
Flip the naan and cook for another 2 minutes until both sides are golden.
Repeat for the remaining dough pieces, brushing the tops with melted butter before serving if desired.
